Ms. McKelvie has extensive experience representing men and women in divorce proceedings in Circuit Courts throughout Michigan, including Oakland and Macomb Counties.  She has successfully represented numerous clients with substantial assets and litigated complex cases involving business valuations, assets held in trust, inheritances, and invasion of separate property.

Ms. McKelvie has supported and advocated for her family law clients through all phases of litigation, including evidentiary hearings, mediation, arbitration, and trial.  Her expertise encompasses the following:

Ms. McKelvie graduated from Madonna College with high honors and from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in the top of her class.  She joined the Firm as an associate attorney in 1997 and became a partner in 2005.  She is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Michigan, U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Divisions of Michigan, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. Tax Court.  She is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
